“A great city is built on vision, unity, and leadership that puts people first. And I believe Prichard‘s strength has always been its people.” — C. Davis

Carletta Davis is a businesswoman, former banker, mother, and lifelong advocate for the people of Prichard. With over 15 years of experience in banking, small business development, and community lending—alongside more than a decade of hands-on advocacy—Carletta understands the struggles families and business owners face every day. She is ready to bring bold leadership and real solutions to move Prichard forward.

A proud resident of Prichard, Carletta has always put her community first. When the 8-Mile mercaptan gas spill endangered local families in 2011, she stepped up—founding the We Matter Community Association to demand justice, secure cleanup efforts, and win crucial support from the EPA. Her work didn’t stop there. She helped lead a coalition across five Gulf Coast states to ensure minority communities impacted by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill received their fair share of resources, strengthening state and federal advocacy efforts that continue to benefit the region today.

Carletta’s vision is clear: Put Prichard First. She believes leadership isn’t about empty promises—it’s about action. That means creating real opportunities for residents by supporting small businesses, ensuring safe neighborhoods, improving schools, and providing better public services. She understands that Prichard’s best days are ahead, but strong leadership will take us there.

As a mother, she’s fighting for a future where every child in Prichard has access to opportunity, education, and a healthy environment. As a leader, she’s ready to work with the community to build a city where families thrive.

This is our moment to revive Prichard—together.
